Gambling bill promoted in Brazil

Earlier last week, the Brazilian House of Representatives plenary session approved the gambling bill, and lawmakers approved the bill 442/91 with a majority in favor of 246-202.
If the bill is passed, it will open casinos and bingo in Brazil, and Jogo de Bicho will also be legalized.

The bill was introduced over 30 years ago and focused only on the lottery-type lottery game Jogo de Binco.
This measure has been updated over the last few years to add more gambling options such as casinos, slot games, horse racing and bingo.

Bill details

The bill seeks to allow casino facilities to be built in the form of integrated resorts in all 26 Brazilian states.
This type of option allows for the installation of meals, hotels, additional entertainment, etc., in addition to casino games.

According to sources, this measure will allow up to three casinos in São Paulo and up to two in Rio de Janeiro, Bahia and Minas Gerais.In other states, one integrated resort can be added.

The license holder will process the bid and the highest bidder will win the license.
In addition, you can only obtain up to two licenses per state and up to five licenses nationwide.

The license fee is 1 Brazilian dollars (about 60 yen) per location.
A license fee of $ 600,000 BRL is required to enter online gambling.Bingo's license fee is even lower, at 1 BRL (about 20,000 yen) per venue.The Bingo operator pays the same fee as the Bingo operator.

If the bill is passed, a new gambling supervisor called SINAJ will be established in Brazil.
The organization will provide federal registries, regulators and betting agents.

For the time being, the bill will be deliberated in the Senate.
