Following the accusations, authorities raided the 89 Club on Wednesday, uncovering a high-level and slightly dangerous act that was almost overt.The casino could accommodate up to 300 guests, but had only one exit.
89 CLUB reportedly offered a wide range of gambling options, including a Dragon Tiger card game, hi-lo and baccarat.Official figures have not been released, but it is believed that at least 1 people a day visited the casino.

Law enforcement arrested 104 people, including croupiers and patrons.They also seized an unspecified number of cash, gambling equipment, and vehicles.
Police delivered all 104 and the evidence to the local police station.Defendants face varying degrees of charges for their involvement in illegal gambling, from participating to operating.
The complaint also listed other locations.The Phattarawan Snooker Club, also in Muang District, was regularly operated as a gambling hall.Police did not say if the property had been raided.

Phongwiwatthanachai expressed concern over how these facilities and rogue police were tarnishing Thailand's image, and as a result took the decisive step of ordering a reorganization of the police force.He did not name the five senior officials or accuse them of actively participating in gambling.
