He could have been put to death. But in January, prosecutors opted to seek life imprisonment.
On September 2016, 9, victims Kelly Naples, 20, and Robin Naples, 64, were killed in an apartment near Paradise Road and Tropicana Avenue. They were described as having "great injuries to the face and head."
Authorities found a bloody claw hammer and wrench near the two bodies.

bloody crime scene
When Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) officers arrived at the residence, they saw Interlicchia, covered in blood, standing over Robin Naples.
Interlicchia spoke to officers and claimed, "Some guys came in through the door and he had to 'beat them,'" the Las Vegas Sun reported in 2016. Interlicchia also revealed to be a lifelong Las Vegas resident who played football in high school and previously worked as a table game dealer at an unidentified casino.
Interlicchia was arrested and put on trial earlier this year.A jury convicted him in February.
Prosecutors said Interlicia "pinched his nose to the victims and their families" when he testified in his own defense.
no color of remorse
“I think the thing that stands out most about the defendant and this case is that without drugs, he would have had no remorse for his crimes,” said Chief Deputy District Attorney Michelle Fleck.
It was revealed by Interlicia's attorney, David Seek, that his client had taken heroin before the murder.Police revealed traces of heroin on Interlicia's body.According to The Sun, Interlichia told officers that she was a regular user of heroin and methamphetamine.
Citing the Las Vegas Review Journal, Schieck said, "This was an unplanned, unplanned situation." It happened quickly and was caused by the drug use of everyone involved. ”
Shortly before attacking the couple, Interlichia forced her way into another apartment in the complex. He kicked down the door and lay on his bed, The Sun reports.Las Vegas television station KTNV first reported that he had been ordered to move out by a resident who was his ex-girlfriend.
Interlicchia then headed to Naples' apartment. The victims were housed together after Interlicchia was evicted from another apartment in the complex.
They lived in a ground-floor apartment at the Palo Verde Villas at 5070 Palo Verde Road, about half a mile from Harry Reid International Airport.
